I stopped making websites and therefore am no longer required to keep up with all the fancy trendy js frameworks

    @confusionsays at some point people stopped paying much because of the existance of those wordpress shits. so custom websites are just not worth the trouble anymore

    @sleek while that's true, it's the WordPress world that drove the prices down.
    Frankly, after my first two end to end sites, I started selling "maintenance" for the setup instead. This way I could filter out the folks who just want "a website" and work with folks who have a vision, and understand that incremental development is the way to achieve such visions.
