So I fell for the vim meme some weeks ago and am now very used to it, but I think I'm still less productive than I was before. The problem is that I can't just go back to a bloated IDE.
So now I'm sitting here, unsatisfied with every editor, bothering so much I don't do my work.
I guess I'll just have to configure it more to my needs and learn some more features but still do I kinda regret switching.

"Mastering" Vim takes time, as in more than a few weeks. Like you said yourself, configure it some more, find suitable plugins, and enjoy!

There is always Sublime Text. Lightweight and very fast.

I haven't found any vim-like control plugins yet though. At least none that work.
