    If I had to guess I'd say German maybe?

    Someone may have applied some kind of locale to the environment without considering it (or by accident?) Happens more when environment definitions are contained within the source repo, which they often are with the advent of docker et. al.

    It is German.

    German.
    "Don't close this command prompt while running, only close if you want to shut down"
    "Apache2 is starting...Couldn't start Apache 2."

    Feels like the same framework we use code is in English but any "documentation", comments and errors are in German.

    I feel your pain

    @Mr-Myrk i just thought of learning php for once. Is windows a bad platform for this?

    @kescherRant is it that awful? I bought a php udemy course and that was the first video of the instructor

    @StopWastingTime I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but it seems the Udemy course might not be very good.

    And yes, it is that awful. Although I don't know if there's a real alternative on Windows.

    @StopWastingTime @kescherRant For learning XAMPP is acceptable, but not more.

    Using WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) would be the modern alternative, directly having a Linux environment.

    @PrivateGER
    Is eingabeforderung an alternate spelling for eingabeaufforderung?
  • 1
    @SortOfTested Sort of, but you would not use it. It's a rather "ugly" word. Eingabeaufforderung is the proper one.
