Now that I'm leading a team, I'm finally needing to fight with other developers to convince them to actually use what was the scientific state of the art 20 years ago, because our field is so disconnected from science and good practices…

The upside is that I get to teach that state of the art to my team members.

I'll see in a year if it's more thrilling or tiring.
