Hey devrant fam!,

Hope everyone is well, recently I've been really looking into contributing in some open source projects!, So i'd love to ask anyone have some advice? Is there a possibility of having a 'Beginner' open source project? would love some advice :-), its my first time going down this path!

    Look at the collab tab im dR, I joined my first open source venture there as well together with @M1sf3t

    There's a mixed bunch of small/big projects, but doing it together with devrant people is always fun

    I'd say a good way to find a beginner Open source project could be to pick a tool that you personally Like/use or find interesting and that is written in a language you already know. That way you already are interested in the project and the technological entry barrier isn't that high

    As @don-rager noted, it's more, you know, natural to contribute into project that you make use of. Like, you notice something annoying in app, then you file a bug, probably even help looking into code to solve it. Most importantly, have fun there! 🙂
