My coworker asked where his toolbar was.
I said I removed it for him because... you all probably know why
He literally slapped me and yelled at me.
I know going onto his computer was wrong but Jesus Christ no need to fucking slap me

His fault if his computer wasn't locked. Besides, I'd go complain to HR for less than a slap.

What decade are we in again?

On my last job we did those innocent pranks on each other, if somebody did left his computer unlocked, but this was usually limited to changing a wallpaper.

Slap though? Dude, change the workplace.

Sue coworker for violence on the workplace, sue company for neglect, seek other job. Fuck them.

File assault charges. Then commit assault.

@halfflat My personal favourite was, when one of my colleagues was on holiday. We planted some watercress in his keyboard.

We did get him a new keyboard afterwards

This rant needs a bitch slap clip to go along with it. Also a rap song about toolbars and bitch slapping.

The good old desktop screenshot with a huge hentai folder photoshopped in it. Love that any day.

Facebook post with my little pony videos als works a charm.

But seriously slapping? I would go home instantly and the next day fill in resignation forms.

    A) I would never actually change settings. That's absolutely taboo and you should be ashamed. However, if he chronically left his computer unlocked, I might leave him reminders in plain sight. If he struck me for that...
    B) My instant reaction to getting attacked would be to catch and twist his arm (thanks, military). Or slap him back if I didn't react in time. I've taken too much abuse to put up with it anymore.
    C) I'd leave for the day and consider leaving permanently.
    D) If he didnt apologize, and especially if management took his side, I'd walk out on the spot and call HR. Maybe call HR in front of the boss and then walk out.

    Violence is not cool.
