To be blunt: it isn't a useful feature. It's an option to turn their bullshit censoring off.

@Root Unlike Swiftkey, which requires you to manually enter offensive words you want to use as "shortcuts". One allows you to say whatever you want while giving you a way to avoid accidentally using bad language, while the other one is just forcing their censorship down your throat.

Because it sucks, duuuuuh

The only problem I have with it is that it always insists on correcting the German word 'hatte' to 'hätte' and 'wurde' to 'würde'
