    @shoop that's the beauty of this post

    @shoop I'm not OP, but considering how stupid that guy seems, he might even have alternated between spaces and tabs every other indentation :D

    @Jilano Yes, sometimes, he did. My brain is fucked up and I am not even half done. Fuck!

    Ummmm... what is this about ?

    @srpatil Too many indents.

    @stonestorm Also, 1160 lines of code is probably too much for any single file.

    @bittersweet I dunno, id say it depends, especially in this day and age where devs make 6 classes in 6 files for each single feature because they never learned what overhead is.

    @stonestorm Yeah it's about balance. For me, and the languages I most use (PHP/Laravel, Haskell, Rust), I'm starting to seriously reconsider code organization once I pass 500 lines.

    But it depends... language verbosity, setters/getters, annotations. In the end, it's more about mental "weight" of the code and which "organizational unit" (class, module, etc) it fits into than it is about absolute line counts.

    @bittersweet It's definitely more than I would like, but...considering it's CodeIgniter... That framework is a complete mess for bigger projects.

    (The file from screenshot is 2.3k lines)
