Round 1: Fight

    Both fighters pound the ref. The crowd goes wild. Ringside spectators jump in and join in beating the ref to a pulp. The crowd starts to make their way to the suites. The fat cats trample each other trying to escape.

    The only question left is: will the sponsors learn anything?

    The first code I made in Python that wasn't an exercise to teach us the basics was 400 lines

    I've been putting off watching Doctor Who for quite some time already. I guess it's a good time to start.

    Everything in python can be done in 2 lines:

    import x
    x()

    @kamen

    Tip, start at 2015, "revived series 1", episode 1.

    The older stuff is also great, but a bit tougher to watch.

    Also if you feel weirded out at the start by corny humor or feeling like it's low budget... for some reason, Doctor Who has this weird thing where one episode looks like it was made by film students on their day off, and the next looks like a high budget J.J. Abrams space opera. The quality of the episodes gets more consistent with the seasons.

    Also, you'll discover that Capaldi (the one pictured above) is the best Doctor. David Tennant was great, but anyone who picks Tennant over Capaldi is objectively, undeniably wrong.

    Use this list to make sure you're not missing anything -- depending on your source, episodes might be missing or in a weird order.

    @bittersweet I researched a bit, maybe you mean the series from 2005 on (not 2015) with Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper?

    Also, I wouldn't want to fall prey to false expectations, I don't like calling who's the best. Peter Capaldi seems great, but so does David Tennant, absolutely phenomenal in "Good Omens" even. I'll give them all a chance.

    @kamen oh fuck yes 2005 of course, 9th Doctor, Episode named "Rose", that's arguably the best starting point.

    In some countries they have everything from 11th Doctor and newer on Netflix, so people get confused about the story, because elements from 9th & 10th still play a role in later seasons.

    And yeah the "best doctor" thing was just me trolling about how fans generally talk about Doctor Who 😄

    I have seen a legacy code which had ~800 lines in just one method!!!
