    Tip I learnt from another vim user a while ago - if you want to make nano users really irate, just say / post / announce somewhere:

    Ahem. Nano is just for users who aren't smart enough to use vim yet.

    Nano is for the typewriter generation. One mistake and you can start all over again.

    We will just assume @rutee07 is a lover of the Emacs

    @hjk101 what? It's easier to erase something in Nano than in Vim because for some reason the retard that created Vim only let you use backspace when not in insert mode

    @shoop yeah now try to undo that delete...

    You can replace a character, delete to the end of the line or the end of the word. Look I don't like the whole mode switching stuff either. If you need to make a few quick changes vim works really well if you know a few keystrokes.
    I never use ":" commands. Anything that warrants that use a real editor imho.

    @shoop just cover with V and use D or C my friend

    @123username ah yes, intuitive
    Oh no I wrote that one letter incorrectly, all I have to do is use cover instead of insert, just go int command node and insert V C or D. Simple stuff! Totally not just press backspace or anything

    @Emphiliis apt-get***

    Plus what on earth are you talking about I use backspace all the time in vim

    @shoop v as in visualize the text you want to modify, then C for change or D for delete. It really isn’t as difficult as you make it seem. Or if you want to delete the whole line? D+D. Wanna change a single word? C + W. Wanna delete everything inside a bracket? C + I + {.
