I just found out our junior dev has not been reading any of her e-mails coming from JIRA.

So when her tickets were being pushed back / commented on, she had no idea.

    @molaram tits are so overated. so is the ass. You can upgrade either one of them with minor surgery.

    A nice stomach is where it's at. For one it let's you know a lot about the person's dieting and workout out habits (anyone finding that shallow, interpret it as how healthy of a lifestyle they live) and for two it's the one thing someone has to achieve own their own through diligence and hard work (we're talking about a healthy attractive midsection, not an anorexic skin an bones rendition). But it can't be purchased, not by themselves, not by anyone else.

    Unless of course you consider lipo or staples that is, but last I heard those options leave a large scar or three. Granted, that info is a dateline special some I saw some odd years ago so things may be different now, but you get the point.

    @M1sf3t Want to see my "11" abs?
  • 2
    Wait. People read this shit?

    @rutee07 not particularly. Aside from the obvious, a four pack is about my limit. Any more and finding myself pressured to accompany her to the gym everyday becomes a real concern. Not that I mind staying in shape, I'm just getting a pretty good amount of exercise at work already.

    @M1sf3t
    To save some future disappointment, keep in mind the flat stomach rarely survived pregnancy intact. 😋

    @SortOfTested I finally have a good excuse! Thanks!

    @baewulf

    This is exactly why I have a male presenting avatar and try to keep my gender ambiguous on other forms.

    Was speaking to a back end person the other day who was asking about working with JS. Told him I was a previous php/ laravel dev but gave him sound advice and resource including using webstorm since using a language specific IDE makes it easier but if not here is list of extensions for VS code.

    He had the nerve to proceed to tell me I must do a lot of UI design work.

    What the motherfucking fuck?

    Yes designers often used IDE’s to create mark up.

    @M1sf3t

    Please post a pic of your flat stomach.

    I need spank bank fodder later.

    Please and Thank You

    @katbreitin not sure if thats sarcasm or you think your calling my bluff but either way, here you go. Try not to let it blind you.

    @M1sf3t
    Marine tats and a crt, I question the recentness of this photo. 😝
  • 3
    @M1sf3t I haven't seen a TV like that in a while.

    @SortOfTested latin but not marine tats. Closer to the seven army values but not quite that either. Animus, fidelis and veneratio, loosely translated, courage, faith and reverence. And it's definitely current, if it were old there would be an actual six pack there and not just the remains of one.

    @M1sf3t Oh! Can we request other pictures too?! Do one with a pirate hat on a pony! (Optional: a glass of milk in one hand and a laptop in the other)

    @katbreitin @SortOfTested before this runs off on another tangent, I would like to point out that I never said flat and that it was a conscious decision because it doesn't fit the context of what I was trying to say. Unfortunately I can't seem to find a clearer way to say it without taking up five comments.

    The sorta-short is that it's not the stomach's actual form that is the attraction, it's in what it reveals about the person. Note person, it applies to either sex, this just happened to be like 3rd time @molaram mentioned tits yesterday and the op was already borderline offensive so I didn't see any point in trying to shift everything into gender neutral context when I offered him a counter point.

    Any case toned and healthy would indicate good nutrition, activity and exercise. Also that they won't potentially leave you on your own to deal with problems they find less than ideal. Vague still, but I'm getting there...

    Flat would only indicate diet. Might be for lack of time, might be cuz mum insisted on eating like a bird, who knows.

    The difference between the two groups is exercise vs diet. Diet being something plenty of people successfully use to maintain their target weight, exercise being the extra mile needed for actual weight loss beyond the initial 5 to 10lbs. Not that plenty don't attempt to stick with dieting, hoping to somehow outsmart their body's metabolism but it's usually an effort made in vain.

    Those two points may seem trivial or even shallow still but what it boils down to is a choice of action vs inaction and in my experience the measures someone is willing to take for weight loss/management usually correlate to how they deal with the same choice concerning anything else. Not always, but usually. One is usually dependable, the other always seems to depend on you.

    Every time someone rants about a female, shit blows out of proportion. If this was a rant about some guy and someone commented about his dick, this wouldn't have been the case.
  • 2
    @sweetnothings 4 was a max limit, min is somewhere around a gentle roll or two. It's more about whether someone looks like they lay around on the couch all day or they look like they stay active and just happen to eat a little more than they should. Usually you can tell which is the case no matter whether someone's stomach is flat as a board or round like a rolypoly.

    @rutee07 that tv was here when I moved in. I haven't worked up the energy to lug it outside yet. It's on the list with the other 90000 todo's that came with this house.
  • 2
    @Jilano that was probably the only shot worth while. I'm still doing the long hair and massive beard in an effort to prolong my vacation from the realms of the dating community.

    I don't understand wtf this is all about.

    I was just hoping to see some tits.

    Hot chick's tits just in case there was some confusion, not some guy's undies

    @Jilano

    Haha, yes let’s make this like fiver.

    @M1sf3t
    Just so we're clear, I'm uninterested in your body and topics surrounding it . No offense, but my husband is where it's at 🥳
  • 1
    @SortOfTested random but ok? Definitely more concerned about how the two of you gathered the same thing from my first comment and it had nothing to do with what I actually said. I just couldn't figure out how to word it any clearer without adding tons of context.

    Trivial maybe but if y'all had been here a few months ago for the conversations concerning why I now "look like a hobo", what happens when I get dragged out to the gay bars, or any number of others addressing how women usually assume men can't relate to what they're put through then it would probably make a lot more sense as to why I felt the need to try.

    Sometimes I honestly wonder if what I had to say would find a better reception if I did like some of you guys and disguised myself as the opposite sex. Definitely would allow for a better reception of the things I don't say, reactions to those would change from accusations of a humble brag to "oh my god why did you not press charges?" in an instant.

    @sweetnothings yea I didn't necessarily mean hours at the gym, I meant it takes a specific effort whereas the other two can just be a matter of a signature.
