Gaijin (war thunder), Origin and Epic Games game launchers do fucking suck.
They miss the option to load already installed games.

Lesson learned: If I wanna buy games, I will do it on Steam or on Battle.Net.

They have proper game recognition systems in place.
Now I have to download at least 300 GB of games with my bambus connection.

Dammit.

    GOG Galaxy is also pretty cool

    @Homunculus does it recognize Epic Games games, too?

    Regardless, this seems like the perfect solution to ditch all game launchers and use just one that combines them all.

    @rutee07 nvm I thought Bambus is also an English word, but it, apparently, isn't.

    The English word bamboo is called Bambus in German.

    @-ANGRY-STUDENT- I have never tried it myself but I assume it does. The goal of GOG 2.0 is to unite games from different launchers and even platforms.

    Why the fuck do we need game launchers anyway? Isn't launching a game the OS shell's (i.e. Windows Explorer/Start Menu's) job?

    @SomeNone "but my DRM!1!1!"

    @Homuncoolus thanks, dude. That is going to reduce a lot of my game management time.

    @SomeNone exactly, we might as well just use a morse code to digital converter and write a software that translates it into whatever keyboards use as schemes to be able to type in the start commands into the CLI.
