Frontend devs who mindlessly use bootstrap because everyone does and end up using only the responsive grid component, which they mess up completely in the end as well

bootstrap can help with a lot of things and make them go much faster. modals, tabs, etc. but it only works if the designers are on board with making designs on a realistic grid and reusable components. I find more often than not the designers jack it up from the start

Agree, gain does not justify the bloat.

Am I alone in finding development much quicker without using these layouts?
