Have you ever thought about actually uhhhh idk giving us more details? Googling your question? Asking your co-workers or classmates?

Just a thought, I know it's a lot to ask for.

I’m not going to post some big old thing spamming people for stuff they probably don’t want to read. Sorry for being considerate. You don’t have to be a dick๐Ÿ™ƒ. Also yeah. If googling it worked I would’ve done it already. I built an AI. It’s not something most people do. So.

I have an index.html file. I also have a onclick. I was wondering if there was a way to have it listening 100% of the time until dismissed. I have hotwords working and all that jazz. I was thinking of an AddEventListener but I’m not supper familiar with html.

There’s the index file. You can see the onclick

    Good first time question

I literally said this one is html. And obviously it’s not python. For a bunch of adults you guys sure act like kids. I came for help. Not drama.

@httpproxx says da guy/lady who just wrote "help me with the codeee" without any details in the first place. Learn how to ask for help

Literally calm your tits๐Ÿ˜‚. You guys act like a bunch of ten year olds going back and forth. I didn’t post my python code because I fixed it. The html is all that is left. If it bothers you that bad would you like me to create a better post to appease you?. Either be a decent human being or piss off. ๐Ÿ˜’.

And @jhondoe your prob a 30 y/o who plays halo in his moms basement. Get a life instead of criticizing people๐Ÿ˜‚.

If you’d like to help me I’d appreciate it. But I will not appease your childish tendencies. I’m not replying to you after this ๐Ÿ˜‚

@httpproxx talk about childish, the guy who wrote: "i bet you live in your momma's basement", "be a decent human or piss off" ๐Ÿ˜‚

I'm just feeding the troll but if the troll gets tired, this is not fun anymore.

Have a good day kid, and again, learn how to ask, don't be THAT lame

"I was wondering if there was a way to have it listening 100% of the time"

Are we talking literal listening as in audio input or are we talking about waiting for an event to occur?

I had an issue with the interface a while back and I actually had the whole thing running from terminal. There wasn’t a need for onclick but I wanted to be able to actually use it and implement other things into the UI. After I fixed it I have to click๐Ÿ˜‚. I’m guessing it’s because Browsers require user interaction before allowing access to the microphone. I’d like to have the speechHandler on the whole time instead of having to use onclick to trigger the start of it.

@httpproxx Find an event that gets called once the page is loaded and trigger from that. I don't know what the callback/event is called so you will have to search. I am not sure, but the browser may want to inform the end user that this is occurring through permissions though. This will vary by browser. This keeps someone from doing nefarious things.
