How am i supposed to learn C# if Visual Studio took me 24 hours to install, now that it's installed it crashes every time i build my code, plus, it makes chrome and IE crash every 5 minutes, and it lags as shit?

PC spec? It's greedy.

You clicked on EVERY checkbox in the installer didn't you? You don't need to install everything.

Visual Studio can be so frustrating... .

I feel you. I wanted to use Visual Studio to build a cross device app with ionic 2... At the end of the week I changed to visual code ( vc is awesome).

I don't know what to say. Yes VS has a few bugs and can be a bit laggy, but not to a serious persistent extent. Are you sure you eliminated other possibilities? For instance, for me, turning off CodeLens and Resharper resulted in _immense_ performance gains

Make sure too uninstall every thing otherwise your installation will be broken.

@J4s0n I finally managed to get VS working! Project > Properties > Debug > Uncheck "Enable visual studio hosting process".
However, Chrome and IE still crash continuously.
