As a non-mobile app developer.. How? What gives it away?

@Prein UI looks generic. So it can be used on multiple platforms without looking out of place. But you can see on the spot that it renders alot of widgets by itself without using the platform ui kit. Look at the colored circle of the avatars - edgy - missing antialias in the paint. Toolbar as well - you can tell that the app is cooking its own soup here

Yes, cross compiled. I think has its place if you cannot control the devices being used.

The devRant team consists of one and a half developers AFAIK... Cross compiling is very appropriate in this case I think
