The solution to missing esc key is to map it to caps lock, like we were ever using the caps lock......

    I also use caps lock.
    But I also don't have any ESC key. (I have a convenient enough key chord instead)

    The ESC key still exists. The "Touch Bar" shows it when using an older or non-Touch Bar app

    @flag0 you need to see me hit that ESC button when using vim so that you understand that the touch bar won't last long.

    @Gauthier No way. 20 years of muscle memory, I expect to hit ESC when I reach for that area of the keyboard.

    @skonteam I used to hit enter really hard, until my pinky started to ache. Scary, please take it easy!

    @drRoss two weeks ago I remapped my shift keys to my thumbs. Really hard at first, but I'm kind of fine now. Some shortcuts are still hard, but it's coming. It's doable.
