What's your favorite CI/CD tool? I like bitbucket pipelines but I'm thinking about gitlab. I used to self host jenkins but it's a pain to maintain.. 😐 And AWS codepipine is garbage, no documentation trash waste of money.

I'm very interested in this topic as well. About to look at different ci/CD platforms and see what I can rig up so I can stop worrying about manually deploying stuff.

I remember those manual deployment days. Terrible. My boss wanted code sprints and wanted me to sleep at work or the hotel next door. Bich, I can wfh. Let me wfh. I'm so glad he got fired and the company got bought out.

Yeah, that stuff happens to people who make bad decisions. I've had the rest of my co workers quit and I'm the last .net guy at work so I need some way to save time. This will do that. My initial browse over it was going to be Jenkins. But it's pretty cursory. My company is unwilling to invest money in our dev stuff as well so I've had to come up with some rickety tools to help myself. But CI would be a very big help if I didn't have to build it myself, it also barely makes sense to build it myself considering how many solutions are out there.

I really like Circle CI. Their way of using docker images for your runtime is great. Github Workflows is still a mess imo.

Azure is my only thorough experience with setting up pipelines, but it has become one of my main reasons for keeping my projects there. Their "releases" feature is pretty cool as well though I can't speak for how it compares to other offerings.

GitLab ci/CD but I'll be venturing into azure pipelines later this year.

Azure pipelines, great service connection management, you can get code from azure devops, gitlab or github and it has lots and lots of integrations + built-in tasks

I use Gitlab Ci atm but i want to check out drone ci in the future as well.
