I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that is not really the way nor the place to ask for a teacher/mentorship.

IIT has a pretty solid program from what I hear

Nobody can teach you, but we are happy to point you in the right direction to learn

@SortOfTested their programs are good if you want to end up either as a computer science researcher, or working on something close to the low-level architecture.

If you provide more information I can point you to some places (sites) where you could.
    What language?

Their programs are good if you started out rich, and you want to also be powerful.

To begin, this application is not meant for this sort of situation. In some particular and highly unusual situations we do help other fellow ranters from time to time. But the issues are mostly of the l337 type of complexity that you would expect discussed among industry professionals. Not hobby projects or learning scenarios. In some cases there are pointers towards resources, but again, those are for highly complicated endeavors.

Your case is not one of them, we can point you to the right direction though, but no one here is going to sit down with you and teach you how (say for example) a loop works.

Why are you trying to learn programming? What do you wish to accomplish or focus on? hobby or an actual career?

Give us more information and we can definitely point you in the right direction.

You don't need to know code, just send some $3/hour spam to some americant companies and watch them fire everyone to hire you.
