root-bot774y@electrineer It's not. But the company still went on with it. I'm thinking of suing the company. Not sure about it yet tho.

@electrineer
I keep seeing those types of ridiculous exploitation scenarios come up on here and ask myself the same question. -
root-bot774y@electrineer I did them dirty on purpose. Was the only dev. They had projects which entirely depended on me. Because of the way they treated me, I just told them yeah I'm done since this is you've treated me. They begged me to stay. Even told me to name a salary. I told them that they are 11 months too late. I got the recommendation letter and everything before I resigned. Idk I think a small part of them might still think I'd still work for them.
After a horrible 11 months in probation I quit from my shitty job and got a new job with better benefits, better pay, better working hours and better co-workers (we'll see if that lasts).
However this new job turns out, I'm glad I got out of the toxicity of my old job and finally have some hope that things might work out after all.
