I had some coworkers at another job who got the no overtime rule put down on them.

They were good folks / hard workers, and I had to usher them out the door the end of the day "bro, they're not paying you, get out man..."

The company made a decision, if that's the result that is how it works out. If the company wants they can change it and keep them longer.

It's not their job to make up for gaps in coverage if the company created ... gaps in coverage.
