Oh no matter, notepadd++ saves opens files somewhere, i'm good with that.

There are important lohins, passwords, some temp stuf and work in progress for something, there are backups and information needed.

    Normal people use vscode which saves even new, unsaved files!

    I’ve got an unsaved new file todo list for like... three months!

    @010001111 same here.

    I didn't save a single file in about 6 months lol!

    I like VScode, but it's more focused on dev. Here are really just random things I need (Like production connexion string).

    And for Dev, I still prefer using Visual Studio.

    @BobbyTables

    I trust you. I use only things I need, like basics :
    • Search / replace with a pattern (fuck regexps)
    • Auto break line (easy to toggle)
    • Reencode file (some time just for fun I do UTF32 and test my software lol)
    • Show file in different encoding !
    • Fast macro !! OMG, /love ! how many times you needed to add “public <whatever> {get;set;} ? Well, do it once execute, done.
    • Coloring. “Just color that html file as JavaScript. Thanks”
    • Speed, ram usage. (Already worked with 40 MB JSON lol)
    Some more, but more rarely used. These are the most I use in day to day.
