What's the term for a problem with no specific optimal solution?

I'm thinking null complete/complex but doesn't seem to be it....

    Depends on why there's no optimal solution, and what defines optimal. Do you have a specific condition in mind?

    @SortOfTested I remember it is used to describe a certain class of algorithm problems where it's proven there is no optimal way to solve it. Basically have to use brute force?

    And actually dilemma was another words I was looking for.
