Ah the grief with car dependency in the USA. Did you know Los Angeles did have once a very good public transport system until car companies bought all tramways to destroy them. So that you had to have a car? Or that highway bridges were purposfully built too low so that buses can't use the highway. I pitty you that you have to agonizing because of american car fetish culture.

@heyheni Yes. I’m well aware. Silly stuff! But the real problem is the people - / the transit would help - but the selfish and impatient and insecure people would still exist. We need better education.

Yeah. I know about cities. Thanks for the helpful links / but I’m saying ‘fuck drivers’ - and not “please teach me about design” - because I am a designer. Even if you are the worlds most knowledgeable anthropologist - and most renowned urban planner... it’s not going to change the fact - that there are a bunch of shitty insecure people driving cars - right now. So, until further notice: fuck them.
