What is the general attitude towards visible tattoos in this field?

    Depends on the company. Most dev shops are pretty liberal and don't care.

    Everywhere but the face and hands ... Basically... Neck ? Ish ... Middle ... Zone... Everywhere else should be fine

    In the US, 30% of adults 18-34 have at least one tattoo, no one cares unless it's something super offensive (white power symbols, sexual cartoons, swear words, etc. might cause some problems)
