Most of the people I talk to online that I end up liking are from Germany. I'm not exactly sure why that is.

    Good-ish education system. Altho, as someone with the experience, they're not that much better than the rest. That education enables them to be stupid in higher levels. Lel.

    @NoMad "Stupid in higher levels." Hahaha. I wanna see that.
  • 4
    @rutee07 yeah, like just talk to one of these skinheads. They're stupid with extra steps.
  • 8
    @NoMad a lot of them are plain stupid on the most basic level... No extra steps...
  • 4
    @Cyberman sure, I'm not debating their existence. But the ratio to the total population is lower. Compare that with countries like Iran where the educated tend to run away, so the country is being managed by stupidity all around.
  • 1
    @Cyberman btw, I say iran because population-wise, iran and Germany are similar.

    @NoMad For a country that emphasizes running away in its name, I ain't surprised at all!

    @rutee07 Actually uh.... Alright, I gotta stop. This will probably get me banned so umm ok Good night Rutee :P

    Who are the Germans here let me see

    @rutee07 <3

    @NoMad However, you will hardly find German nazi skinheads in English-speaking online forums, so that generates some filter bubble for @rutee07.

    I dont how many people from germany i have been talking to online.

    But from my experience in germany, i found many of the people i interacted with pretty likeable.

    Most Germans I had to deal with on GW2 were not very likable (except that one time on Christmas, but we don't talk about that).

    @Fast-Nop the german alt-right scene is actice in english speaking forums. They mastered propaganda to the level normal people would vote for them, but thats partly because we have so many racist words in our daily conversations.
  • 6
    @stop But these aren't the boot wearing skinheads.

    The point is that the Germans you meet online when you speak English but not German can only be Germans who speak English, and that amounts to selection bias. You'll only deal with Germans with better than average education.

    While most Germans speak English to some degree if need be, only those with more than superficial English skills will engage in English speaking forums and the like.

    And then there's the leftist trend to label everyone as nazi who isn't strictly left-wing, which also includes many positions that would have been labelled as conservative 20 years ago.

    @Fast-Nop can confirm.
