The problem is not GIMP, it's about using it for bare creation. Which is basically the equivalent of using a screwdriver to hammer nails.
Use Inkscape or Krita, jeez

@AkshayTolwani because I first learned photoshop 7 and later on the following PS versions. So the keybindings and menus of it are the only sane way of organizing such software for me. Gimp does it just fucken weird.

Buy Affinity. You get the Convenience and features of PS/AI for a REASONABLE ONE TIME FEE. Yes it's not open Source, but fairly priced. Much nicer to use than inkscape imo

Gimp is not designed for the professional designers work.....it maybe good but it's not made for that....i would prefer photoshop for all these creations...Linux's main concern was to create a CLI os not a GUI one.
