I cringe every time I see someone joke about a new "framework" coming out every other day.
This is a serious problem, guys! Instead of piling up crappy, undocumented "frameworks", why not go to one that works well, and improve it.
It's a lot easier to learn how to design and develop when you're working with others who have been at it a lot longer than you.

"why not go to one that works well and improve it?"

You're making two really big assumptions.
    1) There is a framework that works well.
    2) You will be allowed to make changes.

I don't know what your experience has been, but, walking into any job or project, it's expected that you will continue to do things their way, no matter how brainless that way is. The very instant you manifest any kind of dissent, you become an enemy of the state on your way to reeducation or expulsion.
