That feeling when you love programming but don't know what to program...

Usually doesn't last too long for me though. I just start out with a project I know is too big for me and before long I am happily mired in the details of coding one small part of what I'd need to make the big thing work.

Find something you would like to see improved.
Maybe a program to make you more productive or your life easier.
Maybe something that can help other people.
How about presenting or analyzing public data in an interesting new way.
    Maybe a fun game.
Possibly an IOT using Raspberry Pi and some inexpensive sensors.

If I don't have any interesting projects to work on, I'll reinvent the wheel... Take something you need that you'd normally use off the shelf and write your own version. For example, I'm currently writing a spam filter plugin for my Enfamil server. I probably won't be taking over the world by making something that's already done, but I'll at least learn how it works!

@lreading Couldn't agree more. You gain such a deeper understanding of things when you recreate them from scratch.

is there an edit feature? I definitely meant to say "email" sever, but that other thing I said sounds cool too, I guess.

@lreading Lol! Nope I don't think so. I honestly thought that was the name of an email server you developed or something 😂

such is the case when you only program in Python or Node and simply trust it's so called ability to know the type cast.
