You can start with a project that you want to contribute towards, it's not much more complex than that. Everything comes naturally along the way.

Protip: Try asking more targeted questions for targeted answers ;)

@meister Submit an issue if it doesn't exist. Flesh out your doubts with the implementation in either the thread or other chat service. Confirm that you know what you're doing and only you are doing it (it's assigned to you). Then submit a PR.
