Finally moving from godaddy to digital ocean for my personal projects.. lets hope I get the desired results 🙈

I love DigitalOcean - great reliability.

@dfox and the great thing is, i can setup what ever i need not like godaddy who were giving me whatever they felt i need.

I'm pretty happy with my switch to DigitalOcean. I just wish I could justify the cost to myself to shell out for a more powerful droplet so I could move most of my development stack to the cloud.

That's great to hear. I've been with Digital Ocean for past 2 years and I can't recommend them enough!

You should also shift all your domains over to Namecheap when you get the chance ;)

I too began my Dev on GoDaddy now I'm simply DigitalOcean and Namecheap. Best choice I did in my life. :D

I have loved digital ocean. They're reliable! And yes they are a million times better than GoDaddy!

A tip for digital Ocean though, Install NewRelic and Serverpilot. The former monitors the server while the latter helps set up a LAMP server (or was it LEMP)
