Has anyone had to hack into a server so they can set up their work,

Literally have a client asking me to do this change to their site and they are asking the dev who is controlling it but they just not letting me access ..

Long night ahead 🙄 got to add a ftp account ... All I need to do is add small lines of code for tracking, but this guy doesn't want to let me on it cause I'm slowly taking over his work... if he did his job right it's not like it would be happening anyway

Yep. We've had to break into many a site via unorthodox methods. Reasons range from client lost only super admin password to the site is hacked and preventing access.

FYI it is totally illegal, you should make your client sign a contract specifying very clearly what you are to hack and what you have to do once hacked

@willol to be honest I'm not to bothered , I'm pretty good id be surprised if they could even find a trace of me doing it... Even then 😐 kinda lost patience with the guy.

@FitzSuperUser yeah, your client should sue the guy or something
