Yes that is the fun part. Each language you learn makes the next one easier. If you take the time you will master any language

@Jumpshot44 basically I had that impression with JavaScript. Believe me when I say I'm getting the hang of it

techog10819yGo in with an open mind and understanding that you need to give yourself time to learn.

nmunro31909y@LMestre14 JavaScript is a quirky one, but it somehow became my favorite language, to the point where, I've stopped thinking in Python and just think in js.
It's one where you do have to realise that it is something of a chimera language, it is absolutely worth learning it though. Some of the things you can do break the minds of most university graduates that elected not to take some sort of functional programming class.
It broke my brain (and I did take the functional programming class), it breaks the brains of my former classmates and some people in my work!
I've come to realise this breaking of minds, kinda feels like an elastic band snapping in your head, is essential to the learning process. If you're fighting and the tension is building up, keep going and wait for the brain snap of enlightenment. -
@nmunro that was the best description of JavaScript and the best advice I've seen ao far for it. Thanks :)
When confronting a new language: "how does this work? i don't understand it's syntax. I'm not going to achieve nothin in life"
