TMW you realise the only projects that got me somewhere were my side ones. Everything else I've built for other people is either defunct or never came to life in the first place.

Probably because you show more love to your side projects and you usually learn things you want to learn trough them. Plus when you are finishing them it fills you with the joy of accomplishment rather than the feeling you get when something is just, done.

Agreed. But to be fair, I was quite proud of this one project I built for a previous employer. Still, it's long gone.

The only project that's still standing and I've been using to promote my work is my own app.
