Using "sexy" when describing jobs, tech, etc is so cringey. Can we not?

Usually a "sexy position" comes along with the need for a "rockstar developer"... and we all know what that means...

That's a sexy rant ;)

It's helpful, though. "astronomy is sexier than math". "go is sexier than PHP". "deep learning is sexier than chaos".

The word has no place in a job listing, though and is inherently subjective. I think it has merit to describe subjective / popular surface appeal or whether or not something is in vogue.

I dunno, as developers, we do get to see the software naked, which is pretty sexy
