    This is the main reason I prefer not-Windows. Ill deal with bare command line before I let my computer force another update right when I need to give a demo.

    @Grom It's not being updated, he is resetting the computer.

    If you reset the computer with Wipe everything options it does a full secure format with chkdsk. And that will indeed take at lease 2-3 hours.

    The longest time a w10 update has taken for me is like 10 minutes...
