I know I have mixed multiple technologies but it's actually something I need to. To make my point, I actually wish I was my current age in the 95-03 era. I remember the time pretty clearly, I just wish I was a little older though.
I may be one of the few being in this field to say, I honestly hate how easy technology has made our lives. Many of you have experienced it. I grew up in it, by the time I was 16, Smartphones were actually a thing.. and in no time at all, smart tech, IoT, and all were a thing.
Looking back at one of my absolute favorite time, 2003. The only reason for me to use a computer was for that 15 minutes of Miniclip I was allowed. After that we would spend our days outside. -
@sam0 I suppose we won't hahahaha. If it weren't for us programmers we wouldn't had had this comfort. I believe someone somewhere made the wrong decision is releasing it to the wild. The world is clearly not ready for such tech. 👀

Voxera115858y@uziiuzair by the time I was 16 internet had not arrived yet. It was still a university thing ;).
And a mobile phone was 2-5 punds and not very smart ;) -
@Voxera youre making me jealous 😐
I started off at a time when mobile websites worked off the m. Subdomain.
I don't know about others, but I would love to go back in time and start webdev in the early days of the internet, the idea of starting off in a place where no one knows for sure what we can accomplish with the new tech. Unlike now the small things have been discovered. Honestly I might just be crazy and narrowing my thoughts, but I rather be in the time that we would get excited over a 12mb thumbdrive than to be excited for a 2tera. Back when websites used to use flash unlike the standard "clean and flat" we have now.
I can only imagine how much fun it would've been literally starting out.
