Often, these packages still pull in certain system libraries, because the developers didn't implement conditional loading of dynamic libraries and it wasn't practical to include it into the package.
How to download anything in Kiwix flatpak version?
I only get a Javascript alert with "Error: download failed." whenever i click the "Download" button next to an item in the library.
Also: Why are desktop versions almost unusable these days.
