There aren't very many drugs that calm the nerves while also increasing alertness and focus.

If it wasn't for the chronic lung damage, cigarettes would be the perfect drug.

@HiFiWiFiSciFi I need a product that can give me slight small dosages throughout the day so I don't feel any crashes, but I also don't want to wear patches like a nic fiend.

Nicotine is easily absorbed over the skin.
So if it is about getting the drug with as low a health impact and as easy as possible, patches are the way to go.
But historically, chewing tobacco or drinking tea made of it also where methods of consumption.

Replace one habit with another. Every time you feel like a cigarette, do the thing you wish to replace it with. It only requires strength for 2 weeks then it's automatic. Just make sure you pick something better as your new habit, lol.

@Elyz I made the mistake of switching to coffee. The clock is but a suggestion to me.

Vaping seems to be the thing. Or "ripping a JUUL" as the American thought calls it.
