@crisz you are really brave, I once installed asp .net core beta and uninstalled visual studio without uninstalling the .net core and now I can't uninstall it or install another visual studio until I format my computer. I've tried everything.

@solocoder wait, I didn't say that the official uninstall worked. I interrupted it at 8% and I downloaded a force-uninstall on github. Look for some ad-hoc software
I decided that my visual studio needed a refresh, so I had to uninstall and reinstall it.
Well, I downloaded it with my slow connection and in the while I clicked on "uninstall". After 30 minutes the download is finished and the unistall is about to 5%
