Question from a student:

I like automating stuff w programming.
For example some of my projects are:

- a script that takes Reddit posts, reads them w TTS, and posts it to YouTube
- a script that downloads a YouTube video and then posts it on tiktok
- a script that automates some of the internship application process
- a script that sends my boss a “good morning” message through slack every morning

Is there a job field with work like this? Like automating the combination of different technologies? I’ve been looking forever but I haven’t really found anything related. Thanks!

Consider a position at the interconnection of IT and Business departments? Large companies maintain a multitude of inefficient processes which they happily hand-over for automation. Beware process redesign, battling Excel dragons, dealing with business counterparts may be frustrating from time to time. Coolest part is you are considered a true hero once a process is automated. ++ for making this visible in a BI dashboard. Some solutions that come to my mind:
    - RPA (Uipath, AA, BP)
    - Python, .NET
    - App developement (Mendix)
    - Integrations (Mulesoft)
    - Workflows
    - SAP automation
    - Tibco Spotfire, Power Bi
