Check for web pages benchmarks in the web. These give you a timeline with all the events when loading a page to determine what's really going on - and usually a performance score too.
You can also ping the website. Not as reliable as the option above, but you'll maybe get an interesting result if your connection is the problem. -
Check your browser's dev tools. On chrome, you can fire up the network tab and see how long requests are taking and also how many requests are being made =)

biscuit19098yYep, done speed test, other sites, dev tools etc all fine.
Front end loads fine (already fixed that couple days ago) just the administration that's as fast as cold jam running uphill

Anyone know the best way to determine if slow reaction time on a website is down to my internet vs their shitty fucking wordpress template?
There's a Rant coming soon - but I need to make sure it really is their fault and not just crappy Internet because it's Sunday night and the whole town is watching Netflix
