My job description is software developer, and that's the thing I do less because I have also been assigned tasks from other areas that nobody wants to do. Yeah sure, make the IT guy do it, he's not busy and doesn't do much anyway, right? Oh but wait until they do need something coded...

O would flat out refuse to do that stuff unless it was written down that I was responsible for that stuff otherwise it would be a shit storm whenever you need to code something and they say "well you can do that in between right?" And let the managers fight it out what I should do first

@Rambolus I have stood up a couple of times but I just am ignored or told "yeah we understand" and nothing changes. It's awful but I hope they really understand one day when I can't finish stuff in time. Which is happening, I'm performing very poorly overall, as I have little time for everything (I work 4h a day).

I think the trick with those type of people to just do nothing until they are aligned 🤷‍♂️
