From yesterday I started using the proper typing way (Qwerty) instead of using only two index fingers .
Guess what My WPM dropped from 47 to 8(average).
I'm doing it Just to get better at vim and increase my programming efficiency.
I feel a long way to go to fix my bad typing habits.

    I don't think there is such a thing as "bad typing habits" tbh. I mean, I highly doubt the QWERTY method actually works on a real typewriter (or on any keyboard with heavy keys). Go with what's comfortable for you. Personally, I use just my pointing and middle fingers to type (my ring and pinky fingers are lazy bastards). My left thumb loves the spacebar. My right thumb occasionally fills in, but rarely.

    @Kairpooph and that means you have to look at your keyboard while typing and then see your screen whether you typed correctly or not.

    You are going to thank yourself in not so far future, once you get to your original speed. You will be able to type even faster.

    @Kairpooph well that's me the the whole time until yesterday . But let's see it for atleast one or two week . Then I can decide . Tbh I'm confused about my typing styles. I can type faster but somewhere deep I'm not satisfied . (Maybe I'm spoilt by seeing those utubers :3 )

    @Cyanide yeah exactly. I can barely type correctly without having to look on kb.

    Vim will mit make you a better or faster developer. It's not very popular for a reason.

    @Cyanide but do you NEED to type faster?

    @iiii Well, I don’t NEED to but it’s a plus.

    @Cyanide or is it? So one could produce more shit code faster because their fingers are now faster than thought itself? 😁
