Whoever invented glossy screens for laptops should be shot! I can't get in the zone for coding while staring into a freaking mirror!!

I so agree, I had the same problem with my old laptop if in the wrong place it became a mirror or when I cleared it and was a little heavy handed I had to wait until the colours stops looking like mushed paint and the viewing angle was crap, it was a good laptop but not the best all the time for coding, plus it was a mental case so in the cold I froze lol

It's especially annoying when you are sitting in a place with the window right behind you and you end up with a lot of glare . Thinking of getting a matte screen guard or something like that to put on the screen.

I moved to a MSI Gaming Laptop that is very matty screen thank god lol

This is why i love my thinkpad, it's not only coding, general productivity goes lower when you see your face instead of what is displayed.

Same goes for PC monitors. I have two non-glossy ones. Love 'em
