Fucking MySQL workbench won't even tell me what's wrong with my PL/SQL script. It has no output whatsoever. I click the run button and its like "y'all say sum?"

Why are all tools for SQL development so shit. All the time.

I ranted about this and I knew that would fix it. I have been trying since last night.

Turns out MySQL workbench goes retard mode if you use a non-standard delimiter but don't put it at the end of a procedure IF and only if the procedure has syntax errors. You don't need the delimiter if the procedure is OK.

I still like Dbeaver.

MySQL Workbench... I worked long time ago on it's build system.

Jesus. That was a mess.

And the code. That was Alamo after Trinity.

Don't use workbench. I only use it in making visual schemas. Use table plus, Dbeaver, HeidiSQL or SequelPro.

I'm pretty habby with Beekeeber Studio, it's a neat little tool to interface with different databases with!
