I was looking for a new job, but, after some days my boss give me a rice.
Did he smell it?

If my boss gave me a grain of rice I’d *definitely* leave. That’s just creepy. Maybe it’s a sign of respect in some cultures, though.

“I’m honouring you through the symbolic sharing of food.”

@rutee07 wait, seriously? I thought it was just a typo of 'raise'. I rather like this explanation though. I'm definitely going to start offering people rice, I want that to catch on here.

@rutee07 I'm actually cooking rice right now for lunch and you were the first person I thought of.

Okay this is bothering me more than it should. @aalonzolu Did your boss give you a serving of rice or a raise so you make more money now?

@platypus the fact that to honour someone they will do the absolute minimum and only give one grain is quite hilariously accurate to how high-ups will generally behave

@AtuM I'm about to pull an Oprah up in here. You get a grain of rice, you get a grain, everyone look under your seats, you all get a grain of rice!
