No.
Its a liquid, it will go places you don't want it to. Use a clean clothe or cotton balls. Pour a bit of alcohol on that. Clean with clothe. -
Hazarth95294ylol ofc you don't pour it on the device... it's not a magical elixir...
You'd have to disassemble the keyboard and clean it with a cotton swab or a tampon with some isopropyl alcohol.
it should clean any stickiness from the coffee and it doesn't conduct electricity, corrode metals and it evaporates really quickly -
If you had a regular keyboard, I'd say just field strip it, clean the keys and the mechanics and then put it back together. Did that to my mechanical keyboard a few times.
No alcohol needed in most cases, unless you want the process to be more enjoyable. In that case, drink in moderation, and don't drink Isopropyl, stick with beer, you still got work to do.
But since you have a magic keyboard, idk. What makes a keyboard magic btw? -
@nibor So it's a 7 buck rubber dome keyboards with a 200 buck price tag?
In that case, fix it with a Halligan tool and buy a real one.
After spilling covfefe on my imac magic keyboard i looked up on yt how to fix this and they said to put Isopropyl Alcohol on it. On the official apple site they also suggest isopropyl alcohol to use but they never mentioned to pour it on their devices. Should i pour it on my magic keyboard or not? What tf do i do. Help
