Go has been a treat. Recently started toying around with it for one of my personal endeavours and despite being weird, it’s powerful!

    There’s this game from the 90s called Worlds which was one of the most popular games from around 1997 to 2007. Worlds has since then faded into obscurity and as it ages, the risk of the official servers being shut down grows. “Why are they still up if the game is over twenty years old?” you might ask, the CEO just keeps them running to have backing for copyright trolling as they own various patents such as the patent for the “3D video-game” and copyrights for the title “Worlds”. I’ve been working on writing my own implementation of Worlds’ server protocol and originally started in Rust but TCP and Rust is just a pain for me so I’m working on reimplementing in Go.
