Which online trainings or certifications are you willing to pay money for? I'm just trying to get rid of the budget they gave me for training because I can't convert it to cash.

    Do the paths and tests at the end, you can show your progress and knowledge level for a particular language/tool with visuals.
    Managers love visuals 😅

    When I'm hiring I consider certificates a negative.
    Looking for curious people that can learn on their own out of passion, not ones that want material (and the stuff that generates the most revenue) fed to them.

    AWS certs are usually pretty good to have. I wouldn't *pay* to have them, but so many places use AWS these days that it can't hurt to list it on your CV. Not language dependant either which is nice.

    Thanks for the suggestions, juicy butts. I'm looking into some of them.

    @C0D4 I actually tried Pluralsight when you suggested it and liked the paths. I just asked our boss if they can allow reimbursement for subscriptions there as well when the free trial ends.
